Therabody TheraFace Mask

TheraFace Mask combines a rigid face-worn shell with red, blue and near-infrared output plus vibration. It is most compelling for someone who actively wants that structured relaxation experience, rather than a flexible mask that can be folded away. The head strap holds the unit during a session and the rechargeable design avoids a permanent mains connection.

The documented 514 g weight is a real buying consideration. A larger LED count can sound impressive, but it is not a direct measure of better skin results because dose, spacing, fit and intended use differ. The vibration is an experiential feature and should be valued on whether it feels pleasant, not treated as proof that light treatment becomes more effective.

Boutayna Chokrane used TheraFace Mask for three months for WIRED and saw little obvious change in her skin. She liked its coverage and found the routine soothing, but noted weight while upright, audible vibration and no low-battery indicator. That mixed result is more useful than a promise of transformation: consider it for the structured light-and-vibration experience, with modest expectations and a fit check.
